Horseback Riding Lessons

We offer private, 1:1 lessons and small group lessons. Beginners to experienced, all levels are welcome. We want you to feel comfortable & confident while riding & training here with us. Haul your horse in to work on problem solving or use one of ours! Horses must hold a current negative coggins.

Horse show opportunities & trail riding is available! 

​

We will be teaching WESTERN & ENGLISH riding from how to properly care for a horse, how to tack up a horse, walk trot, canter Gaming/Speed/Show Events, proper care & maintenance, warm ups, cool outs & so much more. Ages 3 to adult.

*STUDENTS are responsible & expected to tidy up/sweep tack area & clean up any horse manure that was made during the lesson in tack area or arena immediately after their lesson in preparation & respect for the next student. Your understanding & cooperation is appreciated! Please read our FAQ page & set time aside for any before & after care or preparation. If lessons go over 1 hour, please be prepared to cover expenses if this happens.



Be sure to PRINT out and READ over our Welcome Packet. You may bring the release forms to your first apt. & please bring your insurance card. PLEASE SIGN IN ON CLIP BOARD AT THE START OF YOUR LESSON.

•Junior Lead-line Lessons- $40/half hour session. Private lesson.

Geared toward learning safety, balance, direction, learning tack & equipment. Students may grow confidence while on a lead-line. Able parents are encouraged to help side walk & participate & engage in lessons.

Ages 3 to 5 years old.


•Beginner to Advanced Beginner-

Geared toward students that are new to horses or need assistance, before &/or after a lesson. This program works on confidence building while teaching safety, proper grooming, tacking & leading/riding skills.

Ages 5 & up.


• Intermediate to Advanced Lessons & Basic Horsemanship-

This program is for more independent students that have proven their ability to retrieve a horse from the field or stall, groom, tack up, mount & dismount safely before & after a lesson. Horsemanship & the understanding & how-to's of all ground work will be integrated.

• Gaming/Speed/Jumping/Show Event & Travel Lessons-

This program is for students who need lessons or guidance while at a horse show (travel lesson) or wish to learn more and further their education about Gaming/Speed/Jumping/Show events at our facility. Sharpen their skills & hone in on technique. Students have proven their ability to retrieve a horse from the field or stall, groom, tack up, mount & dismount safely before & after a lesson. Gaming/Speed Event/Jumping/Show Lessons focus on leaning patterns, how to get your horse in the right position & how to position yourself to get the right results from the horse. Students will learn different training tools and learn drills & patterns to take home with them to practice or research if applicable.​​

Working Student

LIMITED and on case-by-case basis

Objective: The goal of working student program is to help students acquire job training for careers inside and outside of the equine industry, as well as build life skills and independence; while furthering their understanding of barn management, horse care, and animal husbandry. This position is designed for a part-time or full-time immersion into our business, where the working student would be grooming, tacking, tidying the barn, working with students, barn manager, and vet/farrier, assisting with events and show outtings in exchange for an intense lesson schedule with top professionals with your horse or one of ours, possible discount on board for your horse, free additional riding time on our horses, and many added learning opportunities. This position is available to select and responsible students who have shown exceptional leadership and knowledge only. There is no guarantee of acceptance or availability. Students are required to commit to at least 8 hours of work per week. This can come through any combination of work (chores or lessons) and can be tailored to better address students’ specific goals.​

**Cancellation & No Show Policy**

24 hour cancellation and no show policy. If you cannot make it to your scheduled lesson time due to other obligations or circumstances, please give a 24 hour notice of cancellation or you will forfeit the allotted time & be financially responsible for the missed lesson. This includes any prepaid lessons that may be missed. Instructors hold the right to cancel lessons at any time due to inclement weather or poor driving conditions. This policy also applies to no shows. If you do not show up, show up on time, late cancel or miss your scheduled appointment, you are still financially responsible for your scheduled appointment. Those that come late to lessons may need to have a modified lesson due to tardiness, but you are expected to pay for the full hour lesson that was scheduled. If excessive tardiness occurs, you may forfeit the allotted time or be asked to spectate. Frequent cancellations & tardiness may cause risk to future attendance in our program OR an up charge may be applied to maintain participation with our program. Certain circumstances are acceptable & taken into consideration on a case by case basis. Please communicate! Lessons begin promptly at scheduled times due to booking needs. Back balances will need to be rectified or have a payment arrangement made before being able to book future lessons.​
